1. Turmeric and Besan Mask (Gram | Chickpea Flour)

Turmeric contains curcumin, which has strong antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties. It eliminates the harmful free radicals that are damaging the skin. It also enhances collagen production and keeps your skin supple and glowing. Gram flour gently cleanses the skin to make it clean and bright.

You Will Need:
  • 1/2-1 teaspoon turmeric powder
  • 4 tablespoons gram flour (also called chickpea flour)
  • Milk/ water/curd
  • Lemon
What You Have To Do:
  • Mix the turmeric powder with the gram flour.
  • Add enough milk or water to this to form a paste.
  • Apply this paste on your face and neck. Leave it on for 15 to 20 minutes.
  • Rinse with plain water.
How Often You Should Do This:
  • Do this 1-2 times a week.

2. Aloevera

Aloe vera gel has nourishing and healing properties that rejuvenate the skin to give it a natural glow.

You can also directly apply aloe vera gel on your face.

You Will Need:
  • 1 tablespoon Aloevera gel
  • A pinch of turmeric
  • 1 teaspoon honey
  • 1 teaspoon milk
What You Have To Do:
  1. Mix all the ingredients. Apply the mixture to the face and neck evenly.
  2. Leave it on for about 20 minutes.
  3. Rinse with lukewarm water and pat dry.

3. Coffee

Coffee is a source of nutrients and antioxidants that may benefit the skin, scalp, and hair. A person can use it to exfoliate, treat acne, increase blood flow, and balance pH levels.

There are many different ways to make a coffee face mask at home. The best way is to mix coffee grounds with a non comedogenic ingredient (meaning it won’t clog your pores). Here’s one recipe to try.

A) Coffee with Oil
  1. Mix together equal parts olive oil and coffee grounds.
  2. Apply to your face in a circular motion.
  3. Leave the mask on between 15 and 60 minutes.
  4. Rinse off with warm water.
B) Coffee with Curd
  1. Mix yogurt and coffee until blended.
  2. Add honey to the mixture and blend it well.
  3. Apply to face and massage with hands for 2-3 minutes. Leave on for 15 -30 minutes.
  4. Rinse face with warm water and pat dry with a towel.
C) Coffee Scrub

To make a simple exfoliating scrub you can use it this on body and face both, combine:

  • one-quarter cup fresh coffee grounds
  • one-quarter cup brown sugar
  • enough lemon juice for the desired consistency

Scrub the mixture into the skin once every few days after washing the body. Let the scrub sit on the skin for a few minutes, then rinse it off.

You can use this scrub once in a week.

4. Coconut Oil
